We had beef steak, tiramisu and mint tea. All very, very nice. The key drawing factor for us would be the enthusiastic service - French waiter providing helpful clarifications for our questions on the menu, even showing us the different types of meat cuts when we did not understand! He was also happy to share more about Lille, which for us, as foreigners, was very nice. His dramatic expressions certainly had my teenager's attention. He also showed us around the place - seemed big enough to cater to at least 100 diners. The deco at the upper floor is also quite charming. We did not make any reservation but turned up for a late lunch. Would certainly go again the next time in Lille!

the receptionist in our hotel in dols de bretagne recommended this restaurant as one of the best tables in the region, and we compete. the restaurant is located in a small regional hotel, hotel beaurivage, the decor modern, the personal excellent. our party of four. ordered various dishes, and we were worn by them all.
very disappointing on Saturday evening, certainly after reading several positive reviews. maybe an off-day, but eating was average and the service was extremely slow. not recommended .very hard to understand the great reviews on tripadvisor!
