much too expensive for what they get. Before I write this review, I would like to say that the service was absolutely excellent. all people were beautiful, seemed to enjoy their job and were very attentive, so this negative review has nothing to do with service sad, that eating was terrible: and expensive. we should have gotten a warning of what was coming when the garlic bread came out until some pieces were unusable. We found Allegro completely by accident when we were looking for another pizza place. Our last minute decision to try it was one of the better choices I've made in my more than half a century gutsing down pizza. The pizzas are magnificent! The anchovies are succulent, they use cream cheese on many of the toppings and they're visually appealing as well. You'll have to get one and see what I mean. Head on in for the full experience (the venue is worth seeing) or order a delivery. You'll be doing yourself a favour.
My commendations to the owner and staff here! been a return customer for at least 10 years and gotta say their customer service and food quality does not disappoint! Today I had two pizzas and they were generously topped , the crust was thin and crispy they way it should be , cannot recommend this pizza place enough, if you haven’t yet tried Allegros pizza , do yourself a favour next time your in the area and give them a go, you will not be disappointed!!!
we went here last night because of their Bastille Day dug, and I must say that we were blown away! all 7 of the courses were beautifully designed and mentally presented, the service was really friendly and warm and the chef even came out to talk us through some of the dishes. it was clear that they had fun to plan for it and we ended up with a great night would recommend and will certainly return. Haven't been there for dinner but the lunchtime pizza specials are spectacular. Really fresh, tasty toppings and perfect crust. I had the capricciosa and as you can see they didn't skimp on the prosciutto. Delishious and a bargain for $10.50. Parking is available behind the restaurant.
despite the very friendly, helpful staff I find this restaurant overpriced. even for half the price, eating in france would be much better. I would like to have a local family restaurant that consistently offers good French style cuisine. l’hermitage has one to go away.
