13th July 2020 was our wedding anniversary and we decided to try out this local restaurant because of its good reviews on trip advisor. I booked a table for 21:00, outside. When my husband dropped me off at 21:10 (a little late due to heavy traffic) our table had been given away and a waiter presumably someone important within the restaurant came out onto the pavement and shouted at me that I should have telephoned if we were going to be late. This was much to the embarrassment to the people who had just sat down at the table we had reserved. It might be understandable on a warm evening when a restaurant wishes to ensure that all its tables are full, but at least he should have apologised an...
This restaurant has recently been under new management. Jovanni and his beautiful wife are doing a great job. No matter what you choose - meat, fish, mouth or vegetables - you will enjoy it immensely. The meat is always juicy, fish crispy and fresh, moules-tender and aromatic. Their desserts are beyond praise, directly from the oven. If you want a delicious meal - go to L’ Horizon, you will not regret it. I highly recommend it! Make a reservation for dinner, the place is very popular.
The service is not one of the best (we had to ask several times about the water, we were told that the dishes in the manu we were interested were not available, no one asked what was wrong with the pizza that we almost did not touch! . The food is really not fresh, not delicious (the tomato sauce on the pizza was strange, not a real mozzarella, complete set of mushrooms! ... not worth the price! A vain dinner!
We had a very pleasant time, with great service and nice staff. The food is fresh, tasty, with local products. We had “Petits Farcis Niçois” and Paella, with some competition. I highly recommend this place and I come back next summer!
