A stunning lunch at Restaurant Lia today. Modern Spanish and European food in a lovely chilled interior, a welcome relief to the fierce heat outside. Moorish, delicious wine, service and quality nosh, pretty much all you need. Just past the Central market, on the edge of Carmen. Trust me, and I don't say this very often, seek it out next time you are up in town. Beetroot and lime hummus with chipotle seasoned chips, ewes milk, smoked cheese and Iberico ham croquettes with ewes milk curd, Burratta, green mango, heritage tomatoes with a whole grain mustard dressing and an exquisite dish of low temperature, slow cooked cod loin, leek puree and burnt chive oil. Just go and see for yourselves.
