After a long day in the sick house in the disabled I convinced my partner to stop here for a dinner on Saturday, I had been having with ladies who do lunch so that I was sure we would enjoy our evening. how wrong I was. we were told by the woman who booked the bookings we wait an hour, so they go to the bar, we would gather what we did, the restaurant was not fully empty tables. we waited at the rande not in the position to relax and hungry hour no one came anywhere near the bar area to us or other we asked the woman who came our booking about our table and rudly the answer, who are they? we had forgotten and was told that we were waiting...more
We have eaten here several times, this was the first time since lockdown. We had good food snd the service bid always good. This time though they had a lot missing from their menu, we got told everything that was missing before we ordered and we had to change what we were going to eat. My parents ate here just after us snd then they had even more things missing from the menu. We will go back as we enjoy this restaurant but we are hoping next time they have a better menu choice.
We had our annual Christmas meal here last night Sunday) there was approximately of us. We had pre booked our courses. The staff are so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food all came out together and was lovely and hot, well presented and delicious. We all had a great evening, thank you to the hard working staff at the Liberty Bell
a. very average cisten art pub eating, average pub menu with average service connected to a premier inn. on the plus side, it is convient and affordable. it is not worth making the trip unless they stay, then they must be able to sleep through traffic noises.
