Becoming disappointed with this particular lidl. Getting very unorganized. I’m finding a lot of expired or spoiled looking food on the shelves. Everytime I buy a pack of hot dog or hamburger buns by lidl’s brand they seem to mold a few hours after I bring them home and before the expiration date on them. It’s only this particular lidl I have that problem with. Maybe the DOH has to come and check this location out. Selling expired food even at the discounted price is disgusting and I believe in the state of NY, that is also illegal.
The store used to have fantastic deals, but unfortunately, that was three years ago! Now, every time I shop at Lidl, the advertised specials on meat and other items don't ring up correctly at checkout. This happens every single time I visit. I do scan their app at the register, but it makes no difference. This deceptive practice seems intentional, as it occurs consistently! I'm sorry to say, but at least at ALDI, you can enjoy their everyday low prices without the hassle of using a problematic app.
Update 3/5/20: The bakery here excels at making excellent fresh baguettes and country-style breads. They sell such a volume that you'll almost always find warm ones available. The pricing is very reasonable considering the quality. I've noticed that their bakery offerings are improving, with freshly baked items available more often. Plus, it's one of the few stores that features self-checkout lanes, which is a nice bonus.
No one is asking for more self-checkout machines! You've just reduced the number of human cashiers and are currently adding even more of these machines.

Have five checkout lines, only two open, long lines. This store is good only for emergency shopping. Other than that, it’s a waste of time!!
Lidl try it for yourself the store is amazing there prices will leave you wondering!!! Only thing is they need to carry everything !!
First time shopping here and the fruits and vegetables was fresh and the price was very good.
