Haven't been to Lido for well over a year so wasn't sure what to expect!! Last time was nice with good service and good food. Went this time with family so 9 in total. Only three tables there when we arrived at 6pm on a Tuesday night but still had to wave for a menu & then wave to order!! Ordered entrees of stuffed chicken wings (nice), samosas & san choy bow (nice but small portions).Mains were beef curry special (nice), seafood special (yummy but only 1 prawn, 2 scallops, 2 fish & 2 squid) & 2 Thai Green Curry (we love a hot Thai Green Curry but this was so hot that no one could eat it!!!). It felt like the wait staff were all trainees so not on the ball at all but very polite when called...
I've only ever had takeaway from this place, and each time I go there I'm impressed by the full restaurant even on Monday and Tuesday nights. The reason is simple - the quality of food is very good. There is a range of very accessible Vietnamese dishes and several with nods to other Asian cuisines. The quality of the meat in each dish is noticeably good, and the veg crisp and clean. The rice paper rolls are delicious. The only reason this doesn't get a higher rating from me is that the prices are high. Yes, it has a Peppermint Grove address, but it's a restaurant on the Stirling highway so not like it has some spectacular situation. Still, I'll keep going for the tasty dishes.
This Vietnamese restaurant is always busy and no wonder. It is one of a number of restaurants owned by the same person who knows how to keep customers returning, time after time.As expected, the menu is extensive and can be a bit overwhelming for first timers but the staff are excellent and helpful so follow their recommendation until you find your way.Servings are on the large size so commence with a smaller number of dishes and unless you enjoy a table full of dishes, request they be served sequentially.Book early if you wish to avoid larger crowds and an increasing noise level.So far, the food has been very good.
Lido in Peppermint Grove never disappoints. Very efficient and courteous service, coupled with imaginative modern Vietnamese food makes this a top favourite for locals and visitors. We often bring overseas business visitors here, and the feedback is always positive.

Try the banquet menus or the daily specials if you are a regular. We had the $40 banquet (min of 4 people), well presented and flavoured. We went the banquet as the table couldn't make it mind up over two of the daily specials.
For the first time in my life I had goat curry as this is what I was told the place was known for. I was not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was good. Very happy with my visit.
We always enjoy the food and service here? We came for Pho as it had been promoted on Urban List, there are two other Lido locations in Perth, this one does not serve Pho sadly.
Amazing food, have eaten and taken away food heaps of time and they have never disappointed, recommend the shaking veal, fish with ginger
