we both enjoyed our supposed thunfish. it is pink delicate and juicy to perfection. it also came with sweet and new potatoes, which was a pleasant surprise because we did not tell it from the menu. service very friendly. a brief at the entrance showed that prinz philip was here. a very interesting place with quality, history and family tradition.
Usually go to Dirty Bottles but getting fed up of the menu there and fancied a change and really glad we found and chose Lilburns. Very welcoming, nice restaurant, great menu and the food was really good. Definitely the new stop place for food for us in Alnwick.
We stopped here for a bite to eat before visiting the light show in Alnwick Gardens. Lovely welcoming relaxed atmosphere, good service and the food (chicken curry/duck lorange) was delicious!! Hope to visit again soon!
really great small restaurant very recommend. good menu not cheap, but eating was great. I had awarded the cumberland with gravy and mae. the service was a bit slow, but it was time to eat.
