The food is muddy. Google a restaurant with soul food. Came over Lillians. Some reviews said she was evil in her attitude, but the food was good. The food is more than good. It's a bomb. I had the oxen and my friend had the baked chicken. Both were delicious. The portions are worth the price you pay. You get more than your money. As with any evil attitude, we were met with a pleasant, hard-working businesswoman. I'm glad I didn't want the part of the review asking me not to try their establishment. We ate our food there and had a big conversation with Lillian. Fortunately, it wasn't too busy when we were there. We'll be back to try their baked macaroni.
Baked Chicken, Mac Cheese, Stuffing was my decision for today! I saw all the other homemade ancillary dishes and only had to order!!! (Yams, Greens, Peach Cobbler and Bannana Pudding) My meal was absolutely amazing! I arrived 10 minutes before 1:00 to get the church crowd. I haven't tried a desert yet. If everything else was good, I'll be sure. The owner and their new employees were good people with good vibes! The inner appearance looks clean and well kept. If you do not arrive early, then it is best to call your order.
Very friendly staff, food is fantastic, I mean I wanted dessert but the cornbread was so moist and delicious I didnt need dessert. The cook was too cute in her chefs outfit and the gentleman who took my order was very accomadating too! I would recommend this place to any everyone the phone calls kept coming in so they get busy. I have my first meal from this restaurant absolutely LOVED. The food is very tasteful and filling for the soul. The location is very picturesque, clean and welcoming. The young woman who served me was very welcoming and promised that I would not be disappointed with my choice of dinner this afternoon, and BOY was right. I would like to let all future girls know to order your food, just come in!

The food is very good! the mac and cheese was awsome, only they wished more since I was a big plate eater (skinny but fat boy inside) lol.... My friend had the fried shrimps and she said it wasn't bad. I'll be back when I'm in the area.
Used UberEats to order from this restaurant. Delivery to my house was quick and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed it. I’ll be ordering again soon. Glad I don’t have to go all the way to Newark to get good soul food anymore.
