I was with a large group of friends for a retirement party. Service was excellent, food was terrible.I ordered salad sesame mandarin with crisp lettuce and chicken strips . The lettuce was anything but crisp! It was soggy iceberg lettuce and vey unappealing looking. My table mates ordered the fish and chips. Fish was heavily battered. The other table partner ordered the special, some sort of beef stroganoff dish. Noodles with chucks of beef and a globs of sour cream in the centre. Not too tasty.This restaurant is in a great location on the water and one of the very few restaurants in the area that have a great view.However it is dated and has not had a makeover in over 10 -15 yrs! Food needs...
A perfect early evening dinner with lovely weather, great views and wonderful service!!Perfect in any way. Yes, if you stay in Detroit take the time and go to Canada and along the lake about 3 miles you will find this wonderful restaurant along the small harbor with lovely views. If you done with that go back to the park you have just passed, the fountain is worthwhile to see it changes forms and colors. Enjoy an ice-cream and the view of Detroit. Have fun. Also it has very moderate prices.
I'm giving a mixed review this time . .our server, Wayne , was an absolute gem, got us every thing we asked for and was very pleasant , .but 2 items , steak and chicken , were not great . .the blooming onion was the Star that all 6 people shared...and the halibut was excellent as usual . .views are great . .so yes we will go back again and again ....
This is the third time we've eaten here and are always happy with the service, menu options and quality of the food. There weren't any crabs on the menu, but the other options were good. There are a few tables on the deck which is nice provided it's not too breezy, but the view from inside is fine. 'We hope to return, something we don't often do.

My family and I had dinner on the patio. We ordered an oriental nacho to start. Then we ordered our dinner. We had prime rib, a chicken Oscar, and a key west wrap. The food and service was fabulous. I would highly recommend to anyone who loves seafood and steak. The scenery was beautiful by the water.
Went for lunch- all of the food is premade it seems. The seafood is far from fresh, ate the chewiest calamari I had every had. The service and patio are very nice but the food needs a serious revamp- it is quite bad - in my whole group not one other plate looked appealing.
