I typically don’t write reviews, but my recent experience at Limani was so disappointing that I felt I had to share it. During our visit, we discovered a bug in our food. Instead of offering an apology, the waitstaff simply removed the dish and suggested we order something else, which we were expected to pay for too. For a restaurant that charges premium prices, this is completely unacceptable. They should at least ensure that the food is clean and handle such situations with better customer service. Needless to say, we won’t be returning.
The food is overpriced for the quality, all four meat dishes ordered were overcooked. Server ignored us the whole time and we realized when the check came that tip was already included, which would explain why the waiter didn't make any effort or was attentive to our table. We were there for almost three hours and they weren't enjoyable as it would take so long to flag our waiter down to order dessert and even to get the bill. Save your money and eat elsewhere.
This is the first time that food was just ok. The service was terrible. I don't think the waiter understood English very well. He brought a coke instead of a Corona beer and we didn't get out drinks until after we shared and finished an appetizer. I think part of the reason the food was just ok is that it had been sitting at the service station a long time. Previously the food and service had been terrific.
With the Bentley in the driveway you know this restaurant is expensive but it is worth every penny. The food is wonderful at Limani but expect to pay NYC prices. Lobster pasta was the best and filet mignon cooked perfectly to order. The staff was very attentive to our needs from beginning to end. My only complaint is the noise level is very loud due to the high ceilings at this beautiful restaurant. Enjoy!

Limani continues to deliver a very pleasant experience. The waitstaff and front desk are extremely cordial and helpful. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The food is above average but only just that. Many Greek restaurants in Astoria will be less expensive, have larger portions and be just a bit tastier. We choose Limani for its location and atmosphere and will certainly return in the future.
Today's service for lunch was very inept several servers barely spoke English. Asked for coffee it never came, extra Salad dressing came after the salad and extra cucumbers were asked for and charged $6 for very few. It was really odd and we were very disappointed.
Filet Mignon was delicious, greek fries (chips) pretty good, lobster pasta great, but the service was outstanding. You get what you pay for.
Great Service and Food is fresh and delicious! Food quality is Worth the money.
