Good food, not very welcoming. I called at 3:02pm and made a 7pm reservation. When I got there, the 12yr old hostess wasn 't able to locate the reservation. There was basically no one in there. I said it looks like I really didn 't need a reservation as thegirl continued to look. Its called thinking on your feet considering there were plenty of open tables. How about Ah, I have itright here, lets get you seated Sir. Instead she rolled her eyes as she walked us to our seat. The hostess then made us aninside joke with the bus boys. Whatever. Get to the table, no drink menu, no silverware. I got up to get a rolled napkin withsilverware from another table. Dirty knife, so I used a fork for the b...
The unholy experience was food and prices. The meat taco dinner was brought to the table in 1 minute as if they had the food served there, there were only 2 tacos on the plate and they did not bring any sauce to eat the food or asked if we wanted anything. I had to go ask if they gave me sauces or something and they brought me one and charged me $3.50 but they never told me that was an extra. Maybe just to see the place and enjoy it is quite good but for eating it did not exceed my expectations and the worst thing was that it was a birthday, it was not a day at all.
Party of 8 was celebrating a milestone birthday. There was 1 server for the whole dining room at 6:30pm on a Wednesday. We waited a long time to finally be waited on. Everyone couldn?t believe how bad the food was. The salad was dark greens thrown ona small plate. I had chicken Marsala that had gelatinous gravy(if you can call it that) thrown on top of over done chicken. Withhard green beans. The ones that had ordered a steak needed a magnifying glass to see it. I was so embarrassed because I pickedthis restaurant
The food was great but they messed up 125.00 dollar birthday cake somehow! The food was actually really good overall and they did give us 100 off the bill. I was still disappointed with they way the cake situation went because we didnât even get pictures of it. I recommend transporting your own cake if you bring one in because it definitely ruined the night for us! Book a table now
Loved this place. Sweet and sour cabbage soup was killer. They have excellent fresh cut fries. Service was great. I found it accidentally on a business trip. Will definitely be back on my next trip to the Chicago area.
ryan one of the manager who works there is great. fair, listens well, follows up and friendly. top notch profi. the hostess was rude and the greeting was completely out.
