We were four to eat in Tijol and were surprised by the loving ambience and the new charm of Tijol. This was further underlined by the excellent service and daily ticket/table and the wine recommendations. All four of us had selected different dishes and were served all around by these great dishes, whether homemade goat cheeseeravioli, the Zanderfilet, the Entrecote and Tagliolini from the Parmesan with black Alba truffles. We were here twice. For the first time it took an hour until the appetizer was served, another half an hour until the main course came. The food was good, and the host praised improvement regarding the waiting period we kindly complain about. Half a year later the second attempt: At first there were not enough menus for all tables, the waiting period until dinner was 1 h 45 minutes. We ordered white bread and wine for bridging, but not even the service was right. Three operas meet in the evening or stand around. Salad with seafood (14.90 Euro) was at most a child's share and tastefully absolutely boring. I do not think this place will ever reach an acceptable standard for service and quality...
The Limoncello not only impresses with a cozy guest room and a terrace with atmosphere, but also with wonderful food as well as good wine selection and a very courteous service. Not for the first time today and certainly not for the last time.
A really great restaurant for the special occasion. The prices of food are high, but the taste, quality and service are great and justify the price. The wines are good and the price-performance ratio fits. The self-made pasta tastes excellent! Book a table now
We ordered several tapas. The service then came to our table at regular intervals and told us that this and that is unfortunately out! Patatas and tortilla were no longer available at 8:30. The tapas were moderate. Time and again!
Unfortunately, our reserved table was not available, although it was confirmed 2 times. There was also no apology more embarrassing than a family celebration.
We stumbled upon this place by accident while driving around Heidelberg. It is, simply put, one of the very best Italian restaurants I have ever been to....
