Standard cafe restaurant on main drag of Souillac, which is part of the so-called Grand Hotel. Service acceptable, quite cheerful, (though they forgot my coffee and then brought me a small one rather than the large one I had ordered - they put it right in the end). My wife had the middle range menu, which she quite enjoyed, because she doesn't mind bland flavours. I, however, found the 17.90 menu utterly joyless, and presented in a manner completely devoid of respect for the food, let alone love or imagination, or the thought that someone might be eating it as a climax to their week.
