We were in Limoges sight seeing, a lovely day we had just been to the cathedral and thought we'd like a bite to eat as it was 2pm.Nearly everywhere was shut or shutting up, something I still find hard to understand in France. I have no idea why some people moan about this exxy Bistro style faux Oirish gaff.We speak French & English. Never had a problem in either language. In fact the staff try to speak English (if they hear your accent) because they understand that is everyone's 2nd language and they want to make life easier for foreingers! That is unusual in this part of France. Trust me. Been here 14 years.The Fish & Chips are still as good as ever (several smaller thick chunks of battered loveliness accepted). Another Monthly Brocante in Limoges took us back to L'Irlandais, and were not disappointed. Went for more traditional Burgers this time round, and yet again, they were magnificent. Double Cheese for my wife while I went for the Cheese and Bacon with really good fresh and crisp salads. Washed down with good Guinness, (albeit a bit too cold), a very nice lunch. Forgot to book, but they found us a really nice corner table without any hassle.

We found this excellent restaurant just a short walk from the cathedral. The service was very good with friendly English speaking staff. The food was served quickly and tasted great. They also have a wide range of drinks including Belgian beers. This place is well worth tracking down and I would highly recommend it.
We are always very well received, the kitchen is really excellent! The choice of beer has the pressure is huge! In short, nothing to say, you'll spend a great time in Ireland whether it's a couple, a couple or a family!
