Nestled inconspicuously off 24 highway, this place boasts the perfect location--so perfect, in fact, that you might drive right past if you 're not paying close attention. The bacon chips are an absolute must-try; they make for a fantastic appetizer. If they happen to be out, fear not--opt for the bacon wonton wraps instead. A word of advice: order them as soon as you settle in to ensure you don 't miss out. Now, let 's talk about the burnt ends or ribs--they 're my second go-to, and honestly, you can 't go wrong with anything on the menu. Bacon takes center stage as a staple in this joint, although calling it just a joint feels like a bit of an understatement....
Food was good. Maybe a tad salty on the burnt ends. The Sweet Sister sauce was my favorite out of their 3 they offer, Mad Mother On Law and Mean House Wife. Hopefully I nailed those right. There was a deck party so service was a little slow and they made an error on the order but gave a great deal. They have indoor and outdoor seating both booths and chairs. Not the greatest but it's not the worst. I'd eat there again so there ya go.
The women working at the restaurant were entertaining, and the service was reliable. Thank you! The atmosphere was clean and visually appealing with the presence of trucks, trains, and cars. It was a fun experience! The barbecue was delicious, and the sauces were enjoyable. I tried the Tuesday special, which was a pulled pork and sausage sandwich with fries. It was a great stop! Small place with Neat decorations and the green beans and tea were the highlights for us. Our chicken was ok, pretty average, but the ribs were so dry and tough, they seemed to be from the day or two before our visit. We were excited to try this place from the reviews but was overall disappointed in the meal. A drink and our two plates were a little over $40.00. :
