L&L Hawaiian Barbecue serves poke done to perfection! While many Americans are familiar with the modern poke variations, the traditional style here is truly the best. The restaurant is welcoming and fast, making for a great experience. Next time, I’m excited to try their garlic shrimp from the menu!
If you're in the mood for Hawaiian comfort food, this place is a great choice. My favorites include spam musubi, chicken katsu, and loco moco. They also offer manapua, malasadas, and the usual plate lunch options like BBQ beef, chicken, and seafood.
I ordered takeout for dinner, and when we got home, we discovered the BBQ chicken was undercooked. We returned it to the restaurant, and they promptly replaced the BBQ chicken for that plate.
The barbecue was a bit too fatty. It would be nice if they provided a skinless option. The macaroni salad was, as always, delicious. Book a table now
