L'oasis - Table reservation

We have watched the oasis grow from humble beginnings when the Walls were halve painted and the children were Playing in the play pen under the stairs :0) to what it is today a true famaly business with the children now playing a active role in the restaurant with good food at a reasonable price especially the home made pizza with fresh herbs and the local specialals of the Camargue with wine to match we can't recommend it enough

We stopped by for lunch here and were welcomed with huge smiles and a warm welcome. We all opted for the plat du jour at Eur.11.90 for 3 courses. A really tasty starter of samosa with salad, choice of chicken or steak and a choice of sorbets - the lemon was really gorgeous with lemon peel. Hard to fault for quality and value and a prime spot overlooking the marina.

I went there this winter and entered reluctantly fearing a tourist trap, due to its location on the quai d'honneur. Instead we entered a family restaurant with a very good atmosphere and enjoyed a very good seafood plancha for a fair price. What's more to say? Go there!

We ate here as a party of 19 and Geraldine did an amazing job managing to provide delicious catch of the day, a vegetarian option and a meat option for us all. Nothing was too much trouble and it was excellent value to boot!

This really is the place for the Plat du Jour - we are never disappointed - its excellent value, really tasty food and the service is excellent. Be warned, it gets very busy at lunchtimes!
