terrible, terrible service and waiting staff have left us in a round. we went only for drinks and appetizers and finished spending over two hours, especially trying to get service and then try to get the bill. when we finally got the bill that was one. single bill, although we were couples and had asked for separate checks, we warned against a euro store for water that we did not order. the maitre d’e took the leak away to repair it, but minutes later gave us the same bill. We've finally paid ourselves disgusting and never will leave again. we recommend this hotel again. the service in portugal is in the very excellent, but we strongly advise to stay on the tivoli or eat or drink.
Check-in at the Tivoli Hotel was stalled, so not in a position to go out and explore so asked for the Bar Menu. Service was prompt and courteous. The menu is restricted but some options available for starters, main, and dessert. Quality is excellent and...portions good. The local beer on tap is a very pleasant pilsner-type and goes with most dishes. Seating is a little congested for a rolling zimmer but low (coffee) tables and high (dining) tables are both available. Would recommend the Portugese style veal.
if you are interested in a change of tempo light dinner, then the lobby bar is an excellent alternative. Not only is it a cozy lounge to share a cocktail without the glitter of the upper floor outdoor lounge, it also offers them an excellent choice of light food the service is excellent the drinks good and the atmosphere is quiet and restful after a day of tour in lisbon.
While waiting for our room to be available, we decided to try the Lobby Bar of the Tivoli Lisbon and found it a nice way to spend time waiting. We ordered drinks and a couple of snack items from the bar menu. The service was...very good, the drinks were excellent and the bar food was very good. Worth stopping by for a break or to spend some time after a busy time touring. Book a table now
The Lobby Bar is a great place to wind down and enjoy a leisurely glass of delicious Portuguese wine. The soft piano music in the background sets the right relaxing mood. I especially appreciated Felipe’s service at the bar. He gave us some great wine...information and served one of our favorite Portuguese reds.
Spent time at this bar after a day of sightseeing. Each time we were there a different bartender served us and all were very knowledgeable about liquors. We tasted some liquors that we had not seen in the States and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
in the lobby of the tivoli hotel. we spent a few hours on the days we stayed in the hotel just sitting and riding with other viking river cruisers that we just met. I've been testing a couple of beers and a few appetizers.
We each enjoyed a very nice sandwich with live jazz piano in the background. Very nice atmosphere, nice cocktail and wine list and good food for very reasonable prices. We would return. Book a table now
