My parents and I were at joeys last night for my mom’s birthday and we had a wonderful evening. The food was great and I must compliment you on your amazing, outstanding spaghetti and meatballs- this dish is the best I’ve tasted in any restaurant and being a pasta lover, I’ve tried them all! The meatballs were very flavorful and I could taste the basil in the sauce and the meat which made it all the tastier. The spice level was perfect for me- just a bit of kick without being overwhelming. This will be my go to dish from now on, so please don’t take it off the menu! I was in town on business with a few coworkers of mine and Local was suggested by a few of them whom had frequented the restaurant previously. I was a little hesitant to try it as I felt I was just going to be walking into another Earls or whatever and really didn’t want that experience. Honestly, the second we walked up I thought to myself “this is such a cool spot!!” Local is a super cool spot with great ambiance and this amazing outdoor/indoor space. The service was great, the food did not disappoint one bit and the prices were on par for what we were ordering. I’d go back in a heart beat and wished we had one back in my home city as it’d be my new “go to” restaurant.
I have dined here many times (the last time we were here we celebrated Mother’s Day) and I have to say the food service have been consistently good! I was a bit nervous about how our then 18 month old son would be received as this restaurant is more geared towards adults, but the staff were more than welcoming! (We did have to bring our own high chair however) I’m so happy to have a great restaurant close by and I always look forward to dining here!
Stopped in for lunch after some heavy dress shopping. Was happy to see they had Ribstone Lagar on tap. Yummy! Had the Caesar Salad which was the perfect size for lunch. Very good! All the girls were happy with their meals. Noticed by the kitchen...fresh oranges and a manual squeezer. How many places serve fresh orange juice. The only negative comment was it was a little noisy.

This place is awesome for a after work beer to watch the game. A great atmosphere to meet friends on a Friday & Saturday night. Or a great place for work lunches or with friends. The food is delicious! The crispy chicken sandwich and the chicken tacos are my favourite. My husband loves the Huevos Rancheros.
Local is a great restaurant for brunch or lunch. Excellent selection of craft beers to choose from. Had the burger - it was excellent. I have had the tacos in the past and I highly recommend them. My husband gives the fish and chips 2 thumbs up.
Sat for over an hour and no appetizers. mains finally arrive and they're cold. asked for a Manager and got a shift lead we were there for a Anniversary Dinner. needless to say, we were extremely dissatisfied with the service.
I really enjoy the outdoor seating area at this restaurant, perfect for a summer afternoon. However, I have noticed that their portion sizes have decreased recently and it seems like the overall quality has also suffered.

Maddy and Peter are great servers! They were very patient with our group of 12 including my grandparents and my little cousins. Overall service was quick and the food was yummy.
Burgers looked great. Salad and ginger chicken were good. The waitress made us feel very welcome and was extremely helpful in making our choices.
