I find it strange in this day and age a restaurant can survive by never answering the phone to book a table for a meal, even if you turn up no staff there to serve even a coffee in the afternoon even though the place was open. Skye depends on tourism to survive and with customer service like this god help them. They should close the Skye bridge down and let them see how they like that.
We had the most amazing meal at Loch Bay yesterday evening We received such a warm welcome and the atmosphere was so lovely and relaxed The food was absolutely delicious we loved every course. We also went for the wine flight which was perfect Well worth it for a special meal.
There's a reason that this place won a Michelin star, the food is fantastic and the portions are generous and well worth the price The staff were friendly but the waiter was a little too quiet, wasn't always easy to hear him with his mask on, but not a real issue.
