I have already emailed the hotel directly with no response. I hope Opentable generates more interest. I did not include in the original email the fact that the complete order for one of our party was missing at all three courses and the replacement turkey dinner was still partially frozen. The little girl in our party was somewhat disappointed not to get her promised ice cream dessert. Really it was a shambles and I have no intention of visiting again. Here is the email I sent. Used to love going to Lochnell Arms but this visit was not as good menu changed and food not as good seemed poor quality. My grandsons burger was inedible the burger roll was brick hard they did replace took of final bill but already very disappointed.
Called in for a couple of pints with my dog to meet two fellow campers. Good beer and reasonable price at £3.70 a pint for Caledonian Best. Have eaten in the past and food has been good as well. Staff very friendly, can recommend.
An inattentive waitperson (we were the only people in the entire restaurant at lunchtime) and very mediocre food gives this the low rating. The Caesar salad with salmon, had flakes of dried out salmon on it. Can not recommend.
