Lock Sixteen Steakhouse

Wow!! This was my first time experiencing Lock 16, but it definitely will not be the last. My wife and I decided to have our Saturday night date night here, and we arrived around 7:00. We were told that there would be a wait of about 1.5hours (which helped me to feel good about the quality of food we were going to be served We spent the time waiting walking around Menards which is just around the corner now. (Woo hoo! it didn’t take long for that time to pass and we came back and were seated immediately. Our sever, Shell, did a great job! I don’t think my glass was ever more than half empty! We went early on a Saturday evening, and we were promptly seated. They brought out a small complimentary vegetable plate, nothing there that I would eat, but the rest of the party appreciated it. My steak promptly came out cooked just as I had ordered. Their BLT looks good as well. Food was good and seemed like a good value, although some of it was just a sightly on the salty side. The beer selection above average.

Went to lock 16 for an early dinner ordered a BLT and my wife ordered the fish dinner. Both were not hot at all. Just barely warm. Probably not going back...

Plan to visit the bathroom and leave with a migraine if you are MSG sensitive or gosh forbid allergic! The cuts of meat are so cheap they cover all of it...
