This review is specifically about breakfast, as I haven't tried dinner here yet! I usually have my doubts about cafes in popular tourist spots like Manly Beach or Bondi Beach, but Loco Madre pleasantly surprised me. While you can opt for the usual breakfast options, it's the Mexican twist that sets this place apart! I absolutely loved the breakfast taco filled with scrambled eggs and black beans, as well as the Rancheros. The coffee was good, though not exceptional, but the staff was fantastic—friendly, laid-back, and welcoming! This place is definitely worth a visit, and I can't wait to try the dinner menu!
**** oath what a wonderful place! A friend described the chicken taco as “a brilliant pop song”, fantastic from the first mouthful. The saltado beef taco however, “a true classic”, more depth and got better with every bite. The jugarita is your ticket to a brilliant evening. Great tunes and lovely staff too, a must-visit and will be back!
Fantastic location! I adore the food and the vibe. It was tough to choose what to order because everything on the menu looked incredible. We kicked things off with some share plates of tacos, which we thoroughly enjoyed, and the chicken for the main course was outstanding. The cocktails were delightful as well! I can't wait to return.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, although the main courses took a bit longer to arrive on a quiet day. The service was excellent, and the drinks and daily specials were outstanding. Plus, it's dog-friendly!

Delicious Tacos Great choice from 7 different ones. Well portioned and very tasty We had 6 each but I think 4 is enough for a normal person. We are big eaters! Home made salsa sauces were outstanding! Very nice and attentive service Will be back!
