friendly, welcoming and relaxing. I've been here for a few years and everything's fantastic. eating, service, people, personal and actual caffe. as it is part of a park, there is a beautiful walk around the...Grenzplatz and a fantastic playground for children with equipment for all age groups, including zip, football tor, swing and accessible play equipment (swing and basket swing). the caffe is accessible and only a beautiful environment. if they have a large small appetit, they have something on the menu for all with delicious specialties and delicious cakes and tasty items, the menu has a lot of variety and eating is noisy. they offer Christmas dinners in December, which again beautiful a...

Came here with my little one and the grandparents. First we had a play outside in the lovely kids play area. The musical posts were brilliant little one loved them. When we went in we were served by a really friendly and helpful young guy....Drinks brought over quickly and food not long behind. All the food was excellent and good portions. Usual facilities available e.g. baby change, highchairs, toys for kids.

We are a retired couple, who live in nearby Cottesmore. We often drop into The Lodge for a cooked breakfast. Good quality food at a VERY reasonable price so do drop a coin or two into their fund raising box. Friendly staff and good...service, in a very clean environment, in a superb parkland setting, which has an extensive play area for children.

Really like this place, it is not smart but good food, great staff and lovely location. Also excellent charity. Food is basic but wholesome and locally sourced. We sat outside looking over fields and children playing on swings and roundabouts. Well worth a visit
