We have been coming to the London pub on and off for years . Alex really is a great host and makes this pub what it is . Unlucky for us when we went to celebrate my dads 60th there as it’s his favourite place...on the island ,Alex had the night off . The young man was nice and did his best but the older man was very rude literally nearly throwing our meals at us . The whole atmosphere of the place was totally different without Alex , which is a shame .
Manolo and Alex who own the pub are friendly and cheerful with Manolo its always chilly today even in 40 degree heat.Alex his son speaks better English and always has time for a chat .good selection of draught beer and cider with free nuts and...crisps with every order.
stops h good sport on TV for lunch. they were really friendly and eating was good.
on this occasion, on the terrace it is fresh, but Covid-19 leaves us no other.
