It was our first time and it will not be our last. From the time we were shown to our table this experience was divine because of the food , atmosphere and service and that was Harriet who made the evening a wonderful Birthday celebration. I had the London Street Brasserie Lobster Prawn Cocktail. It was by far the best prawn cocktail I have ever had. I loved the addition of avocado which took it to another level. My main was a Seared Bream Fillet , Grilled Octopus. It was accompanied with Isle of Wight Tomatoes , Asparagus , Saute Jersey Royals Avocado Purée. Attend for late Lunch 16:00pm on 28/12/23 .. the restaurant was busy but not packed as always with LSB the atmosphere was very pleasant and warm. All the staff were very friendly from the girl on the door who took our coats to the girl who served drinks. Amber our waitress was attentive and chatty my Pheasant was excellent as was my friends Pork Loin. Apparently the dessert were spot on. The only Minus for me was the pre dinner beer I had a draft pint of IPA Rebellion and though it was a bit flat switched to bottle beer Breakspear Oxford which was fine … it’s not the first time we have met friends here at the London St Brasserie, Reading and it won’t be the last keep up the good work .
Food was honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. I had the mussels to start and sea bass with octopus for main, while my partner enjoyed the squid starter and lamb main. I can’t speak to his food (although he said is was very good! , but my seafood dishes were incredible. Portions are extremely generous, allergies are well catered for, and fresh, seasonal ingredients are used to provide delicious tasting dishes. Staff were lovely and, when a very slight delay occurred with my partner’s dessert, the manager insisted on giving us a bottle of wine to enjoy at home a gesture totally not required (we didn’t mind the wait! , but extremely appreciated. We won’t hesitate to come back.
We have been coming to LSB for many years including a few visits to the crooked billet in Stoke Row. It was our 25 year wedding anniversary today and we decided to visit the LSB in Reading. We were extremely disappointed at the quality of the food it has gone very down hill and when we spoke to the waiter about it he said we were not the only ones to complain about it. The only reason we went there was because most top end restaurants are closed on a Monday and LSB used to be one of the high end restaurants! Safe to say we will not be returning

We ate here for the first time to celebrate our anniversary and it was amazing. The food was delicious and the menu had an extensive selection it was difficult to choose. When the food arrived it looked great and didn’t disappoint in the taste. The drinks were also great and I would recommend the margarita! To add to the great evening the waiting staff were exceptional. So polite, helpful and courteous. We are looking forward to visiting again.
Have been dining here for years, was always the best restaurant in Reading, sadly not anymore!Staff still extremely friendly and knowledgeable, unfortunately, the food now does not match, and is average at best and overpriced. Will be finding a new favourite restaurant!
Some of the best food I have had , if you go out for food then it should be food you don't normally make at home and this restaurant is the reason why. Fantastic menu with such good choices, great staff and great location. Will be returning for evening meal
Visited with friends and had a really great evening. Fantastic menu with interesting and innovative dishes. The ‘dessert cocktails’ were worth the whole visit. We also had very attentive service that was friendly and informative.

V good food in a nice building in the unpromising environs of the Oracle centre. Good food selection, nice atmosphere and great service. By far the best place to eat smartly in Reading town centre. Easy parking too!
