I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lone Star Wine Cellars, and it was an absolute delight! My husband and I were on a mission to find exceptional wines, and our experience at this winery exceeded all expectations.From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the vibrant atmosphere. This is a very nice tasting room tucked into a small group of shops in downtown McKinney. The wine was excellent! Last week we stopped in for a wine tasting and I had the Grey Ghost flight which gets you a taste of two of their whites and two reds. I liked them all, even their Chardonnay which I am not typically a big fan of. The Grey Ghost gets you a taste of the Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sangiovese and the Montepulciano. I thought the Montepulciano was the best of the group, but enjoyed them all. The surroundings are super nice and the staff top notch. Go enjoy some good wines and the atmosphere here.
What an awesome place. A gem in McKinney! Great staff, super knowledgeable, welcoming, friendly and respectful. Adorable place inside and outside on their patio. Wonderful! Reasonable wine prices and the food looked delicious, even though we didn’t have any, but definitely next time. This will be one of our new places to frequent during the week and weekends. Also, they were playing 80’s music followed by live music! Great night!
Great as always! The wine, the sangria, and all the appetizers were fabulous! The live entertainment (Double Down) was outstanding! Can’t wait to see them again soon! Fun night.
