This restaurant has seriously gone downhill since it first opened. The food used to be excellent, but now it’s hit or miss. You pay your money, hoping for the best. The staff seems incompetent, and they charge different prices for the same dishes. Just today, I was told that the usual two-piece chicken meal now comes with only one and a half pieces. The menu clearly states that the medium size comes with one piece and the large with two pieces, yet it's now $1 more for less food. To make matters worse, they have the audacity to charge $2.50 for a single piece of fried fish, which feels like robbery. Just last week, I was charged $2 for each piece, and the woman who charged me was right there...
I visited the restaurant yesterday evening, September 15, 2023, and ordered two whiting fish meals with shrimp and French fries, along with a side of turkey wing. When I got home and opened the bag, I found turkey juice spilled all over the food. The fish smelled like burnt plastic and had a terrible taste, drenched in fish grease. The shrimp tasted just like the fish. The only decent item was the fries. The turkey wing was huge but also unpleasant, so I ended up throwing the food away. I wasted $32.76 and will not be returning to this place.
I had only visited this place once before and had completely forgotten about it. It will definitely be my go-to restaurant from now on! I ordered the medium-sized smothered pork chop entree, which came with white rice and gravy, and string beans. It was absolutely delicious! The pork chop was slightly overcooked, but it was still incredibly tasty and reminded me of a Sunday dinner. The young lady at the counter was very friendly as well. Service: Takeout.
The food is great! I've ordered the Turkey Wings twice, served with rice and beans, along with mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was just okay, but the turkey wings and rice were absolutely delicious! I would recommend opting for dishes that are already prepared rather than those that need to be fried, like the seafood. Overall, I would definitely come back here!

I was completely blown away by this hidden gem of a restaurant. The oxtail with rice and beans was incredible—packed with juicy flavor, served at the perfect temperature, and with just the right portion size. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.
The baked chicken was undercooked and quite unpleasant. Service was for takeout. I had it for dinner, and the cost was around $20–30 per person.
