Long White Cloud - Table reservation

Situated on the famous Hackney Road (where all the cool people live now) the Long White Cloud is one of East London’s regular haunts for locals in the area. The staff and owners here are incredibly friendly, welcoming and laid back – nothing would be too much trouble for these guys. The one thing i do love about the Long White Cloud is that it plays host to its very own gallery. With white blank canvas walls they exhibit art on behalf of locals, friends and family – you never know quite what to expect. Located a few minutes away from Hoxton railway station, Long White Cloud is a Kiwi-owned, free-range, free-trade café-cum-gallery space which serves up interesting brunch-type meals such as smoked salmon scrambled eggs and french toast with bacon and banana. It was pretty filled at 11 in the morning, but not enough to gather a queue. The interesting thing about this café is the fact that they display local artworks which are also on sale. When I was there two weeks ago, Kate Ardern 's intriguing 'Into The Wild ' paintings were up on the walls, most of them already marked as sold. large small cafe, friendly staff, good eating and led by new sea landers! long white cloud is a small cafe on the hackney road, about 5-10 minutes walk from the columbia road flower markets and perfect if they want a few brunch away from the hectic and busy post flower shopping. it belongs to new-sea landers so it must be good. the caffe is beautiful and fresh with white walls and wooden and chairs. the two small tables from the front are perfect to make most of the last sunny days and also for people. we ordered the breakfast from the special table: eggs, salmon and avocado, which was delicious and came on perfectly grilled full grain bread. at 8...more

Just recently moved to the area and after walking past a few times I decided it was time to actually try it out and stop peering in! Went on a Sunday afternoon around 12 and it was quite busy but no queue. Even though there were lots of people and waitresses milling around it did't feel too cramped or stressful. I had the veggie breakfast which was very nice although I wasn't entirely full afterwards. Hot chocolate is very good, not too chocolatey so it feels slightly healthier! The person I was with had a peanut butter smoothie and absolutely loved it. Very nice atmosphere, good food and they even offer a range of gluten free cakes/pastries.

Little hole in the wall with delicious food and incredibly friendly service. Plus they’re dog friendly! Got an egg white omelet and matcha latte, yum! Also their sourdough is incredibly
