My husband and I didn't order steak this time, as we had it here in the past and found it to be just okay, which made us hesitant about returning. However, after receiving a gift card, we decided to give the restaurant another shot. This time, we opted for different menu items, and I have to say, they were quite good! The service was prompt, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Since the restaurant is spacious and not particularly crowded, that likely contributed to our positive experience.
It was pretty slow for a Sunday afternoon, we were the only ones seated in our entire section. But I didn't stop the waitress from taking 20 minutes to bring the menus as though it was super busy. Food was great when it finally arrived, though she didn't bring it all at once and we had to wait for the sides that went with our steaks. Then we waited another 15 minutes for her to bring the bill, and once we gave her the cash another 15 minutes waiting for her to bring us our change.
The food here is consistently good, but the service at the bar leaves something to be desired. It can be challenging to get the staff's attention at times. The beer pours are average, with a head of at least 2 inches, resulting in a loss of about 2-3 ounces from your drink in a tall glass.
