Don't miss this unforgettable site. certainly one of the most imposing monastic architectural ensemble. Take the time to go to the park where the new bells of the abbey are temporarily exposed. Old kitchens and dorm tank are really exceptional. the abbey is certainly worth the 200km detour we made to visit.
pity, that some rooms, such as dormitories, cannot be visited, because we have made reception rooms or exhibition rooms. I was lucky to see them about 20 years ago, and I regret being able to make the most of my relationships. on the other hand, congratulations on the architectural restoration.
We thank our guide, who made us discover this beautiful royal abbey on a guided tour. visit that puts us in the history of Aquitaine alienation and other people related to this building. the visit can then continue alone with gardens and other places.
Magnificent place, absolutely worth visiting. The wonderful guide told us the history of this place full of events, partly restored for certain pieces. The place also hosts cultural and artistic events.
