abbey huge and very well preserved. you need at least an hour to visit it with tranquility and to visit such corridors and gardens. the history of the prison drips me, but it didn't end up dripping that they heard the abbey as exhibition halls. It takes a lot of charm away from him. And on the other hand, the kitchen looks like an addition that's kind of weird. Anyway, I'm glad to see you, but it didn't seem exceptional. and the gardens should take care of them more.
Don't miss this unforgettable site. certainly one of the most imposing monastic architectural ensemble. Take the time to go to the park where the new bells of the abbey are temporarily exposed. Old kitchens and dorm tank are really exceptional. the abbey is certainly worth the 200km detour we made to visit.
pity, that some rooms, such as dormitories, cannot be visited, because we have made reception rooms or exhibition rooms. I was lucky to see them about 20 years ago, and I regret being able to make the most of my relationships. on the other hand, congratulations on the architectural restoration.
