An exceptional meal in this beautiful, traditional French restaurant. You know you're going to have a great meal when the restaurant's full on a weekday lunch. A warm welcome, lovely restaurant with a convivial atmosphere and the food super! We had the lunchtime menu at 16euros with oeuf cocotte, beef cheeks in a rich red wine jus served with steamed potatos and vegetables, fromage, dame blanche of vanilla ice cream, chantilly and chocolate sauce and wine included. A gem of a place with a real taste of France! Thanks for a lovely meal, we'll be back to enjoy more soon. A bientôt
We had another lovely meal here at lunchtime! Breaded camembert and salad to start, skate wing served with a butter and caper sauce with courgette gratin as one choice for main, the other beautifully braised ox tongue in a rich beef consomme with potato dauphinoise, followed by pain perdu for dessert and a silky smooth merlot red wine to accompany the excellent food. This is a wonderful restaurant serving a real taste of France, authentic traditional recipes served simply and executed perfectly. Merci beaucoup!
Went here on the recommendation of friends and we weren’t disappointed. 4 courses with wine and coffee for €13.50, you simply can’t go wrong. All courses have 3 choices, as long as you get there early, and the food is fantastic. Spotlessly clean and great service. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
We ate here after a long trip driving from Paris and staying locally. It was a Tuesday evening whereas many restaurants are not open. They were lovely. The host was lovely as well and we enjoyed our food. Recommend if you are in need for some comfort food on your travels. :
