"Nice old pub, stopped in for a pint of harp one of my favourite beers. Had the Guinness steak pie, was a bit disappointed with the meal. Taste was good, pastry was flat and poorly done."

1st visit n last...we were only people in there and both of our appetizers were deep fried items n the centers were ice cold when u bit into them...food came out after a very long time and remember we are only ones in there so u would think plates would come out hot...nope...my chicken was cold, gravy on fries luke warm and lettuce soggy...sadly I will never return a plate bc of horror stories I here in kitchens...nothing worse than cold food...won't be back...unfortunately...

My husband and I enjoyed our lunch. We started with scotch eggs. We both loved them. We followed this with an excellent Guinness pie and a Greek wrap. The drink menu was fun and the service was excellent. We will return next time we are in the area.

Had lunch outdoors at the Navy Park across the street, as park of the Town’s weekend closed streets. A busy weekend and the service was very good. Decent pub offerings on the menu with average food. Would try again.
