While driving down 101 South from Goleta during rush hour, I decided to avoid the traffic by stopping at a Mexican restaurant I spotted off the freeway. Located in downtown Montecito on Coast Village Road, Los Arroyos was easy to find with free parking available. I chose to dine outside to enjoy the beautiful Santa Barbara weather. The service was prompt and attentive, and my salmon enchiladas were unlike anything I had ever tried before - creamy sauce, fresh salmon, and topped with slices of avocado. My daughter and I had a wonderful dining experience at Los Arroyos for the second time. She enjoyed the shrimp tacos while I savored the salmon tacos. Both dishes came with black beans in a crispy corn tortilla bowl and Mexican rice. Surprisingly, my daughter, who never liked black beans before, fell in love with them here. The salmon in my tacos was tender and juicy, and my daughter had a generous amount of shrimp in hers. The restaurant was clean, the service was excellent, and our server was attentive and friendly. Parking may be limited due to the many shops on the same street, but we will definitely be returning.
We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The only issue was that the chips and salsa were served separately, and we encountered several different servers, which made things a bit confusing. However, the patio dining area was lovely, equipped with wonderful heaters that were ideal for bringing my dog along. I was able to order a side of cooked beef for her without any problems. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and look forward to returning soon.
Post reopening after Montecito’s remodel, same manager and some of same staff. Must be a different chef on Sundays. Orders came super slow, overcooked and mixed up. Waitstaff argued over separate checks request, which makes minimal sense when one group of the six is 2 and the other is 4. Remodel looks great but hopefully Tony can get that kitchen operating properly and some waitstaff correction on separate check requests

I can sum up this restaurant in just one word: outstanding. While it may be cozy, both the food and service are exceptional. The menu features a range of options, and the wine selection is remarkable—this is the finest wine I've tasted in California. The service is flawless. You should definitely check this place out; it might just become a local favorite for Harry and Meghan, who live nearby.

The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. I would highly recommend this restaurant for dinner. Prices range from $20 to $30 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5.
I ordered from Los Arroyos, and once again, they gave me the wrong dressing. Come on, get it together! The food is great, but the service really needs improvement.
