My husband and I dined in one night after work. We placed our order with the server and told him no shrimp on the T bone steak. He has a server seafood allergy. The server brought out the steak with shrimp on it. He then told us we could not send it back or order anything else. We asked for a manager. The manager refused to come to the table. After speaking to a second server we was allowed to send the plate back and remove it from the table but still my husband could not order a dish to eat. We own our own business and would never treat our customers like this. This was definitely horrible service and would not recommend no one who wants a drink and food to wine down after work to stop here...
This midtown restraunt has become a favorite of ours. Even when they're slammed you're seated and served quickly and efficiently. The food is ALWAYS delicious and the staff are very friendly and extremely efficient. I would definitely recommend this location! They have a great taco salad, their cheese dip is awesome, and if you've never had a cheesecake burrito... they have a delicious one!! I'd definitely recommend the midtown Memphis location! Best jalapeno salsa I've ever had. Unfortunately that's where the nice experience ended. The server we had seemed bored. Table of 4 adults ranging in age from 35 to 60 asked for ID! Definitely non of us looking under 30 much less 21! SO disappointing. We're travelling from overseas and one of us who didn't have our passports was refused drink service. Even offered to show a picture of ID which was refused. Ended up getting up and leaving. I get policies, but have common sense!!! Went down to La Cocina only 6 minutes away and the service was amazing, menu was bigger, and we got all the drinks we wanted!
This is your typical Mexican restaurant. Parking is a little tight if you go during the normal rush. They had very good salsa for the chips. I ordered a carnitas burrito. The carnitas were dry not like your normal carnitas that are moist and has some fat on the meat. The beans weren’t very good. They were probably from the previous day. Service was prompt. I would return just would order something different. Parking: Parking is tight not many spaces available.

Love the food. You all gotta work on them ingredient temps. Nobody wants steaming hot lettuce and guacamole on their burrito. I don't know what part of Mexican culture decided that steaming hot lettuce was the struggle food that needed to be on $10 burritos but ************ what a waste of money today. Great food, reasonable prices. Servers are always friendly. My favorite thing to order is the Chicken Quesadilla plate. Parking: Parking lot is less than a block away. Usually plenty of parking spots. Feels pretty safe, never had any issues there.
Food was good. Quick and friendly service. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because parking is very limited and it’s not in the best area. The restaurant itself can’t help that, but I wouldn’t go back for those two reasons.
I met some friends here for lunch when I was traveling through Memphis was a great experience all around
