This place is always a dependable choice for a Burrito Especial, and I usually go for the carnitas. I've been coming here for over 25 years. The staff is friendly, but the atmosphere is quite basic—just plastic chairs and tables, so don't expect much in terms of ambiance. I prefer to take my meal to go, park my car in one of the lovely nearby neighborhoods, and enjoy the nice Newport Beach breezes while I savor my enormous burrito.
The food is fantastic, and the service is equally outstanding! My favorites are the gringo burrito, asada fries, and carnitas tamale, and the pinto refried beans are incredible! The atmosphere is really laid-back.
The tacos here are fantastic, and there’s a wide variety of meats to choose from if you’re feeling adventurous. Parking can be a bit tricky, but it’s definitely worth it!
