Torreznos is fried pork belly in Spain. It's like square-ish pieces of slab bacon fried until the skin becomes crunchy. They are delicious and go very well with beer or wine. They will provide you with a generous tapa every time you order a drink. The paella is delicious and so is the chorizo. Like most tapas bars in Madrid, it will be crowded at time. Just be patient...it's worth it!
Always full, amazing tapas bar. It has become tradition for me. Before lunch have the aperitivo in los torreznos. Go in, find a small space and get vermouth de grifo. Eat the nice tapa that will come with and order your torreznos. You will never forget this pork belly :
The waiter who served us was very rude, she looked like she was unhappy because we were sitting on the terrace. She was annoy with the world and she sent that feeling and her bad energy to their customers We just had a beer and one tapa before we left to another place.
