We were at the place on around o'clock. The restaurant was quite busy which is a positive thing. It has a very modern semi-industrial style atmosphere with a nice tile stone kitchen. The waiter at the reception area was unfortunately quite unfriendly and...stopped us and let us wait quite a time at the bar although there were lots of empty tables and other coming customers were already sitting anywhere at their will. Our table waitress was very friendly but visited our table quite rare if you compare to normal Italian friendly hosting style. The food was magnificent, very tasty and great portions. Visited as part of a group of family (canadian, british and german) weeks ago and we were happy to be given a couple of menus in english and even beeing served in english. There's a lovely atmosphere inside and the staff are very friendly...and accommodating cannot fault at all!! Make sure you're hungry as especially the pizzas are generous and extremely huge. I like the idea that the kitchen is wide open so you can see your meal beeing cooked almost in front of you. Will definitely return when back in Duisburg. DANKESCHOEN
Nicely located restaurant with perfect pizzas and pastas. Situated at the water side you can enjoy pizzas the size of a car wheel. If that's to much for you, you can share or take a nice pasta. Everything tastes very good. Pasta are al dente...like they should be. Prices are very reasonable! This restaurant is not situated in the centre of Duisburg but if you stay in Duisburg it's worth it to go and visited L'osteria.
Nice restaurant to go with friends and have some pasta or a huge and delicious pizza. The prices on the menu are great, with most dishes being less than The staff is nice, but the service can be a little slow during the busy...hours. I waited for more than minutes to get a table in a Wednesday night, but got a complimentary glass of wine at the bar. Totally recommended.

Alles tiptop, super Essen, super Service. Kurze Wartezeit für einen Freitag Abend, wurden aber an der Bar versorgt. Immer wieder !
