we came here on a Friday late and were pleased to see that they served ten minutes before the announced closing time. the caffe is located on a terrace, away from the traffic exhausts and very pleasant. the chocolate below looked fantastic, so we had high expectations at our coffee and our black forests chirschtorte. no worries, they were unbelievable! generous chocolate slices, creamy pleasure with cherry taste. really wonderful. they also remained open so that we could buy a few pralins that I can recommend if they love their taste buds and that to be reasonable. it is worth visiting this place at a visit to gengenbach.
I have ordered a black forests and a tee and give 4 stars for the torte and 5 for the service! the cake was juicy and loose, but I have eaten another very excellent BF cake in another black forest town and therefore it blows a little. the cherry were juicy and it was enough cherry in the cake. the service was friendly. the hostess was very impenetrable and polite when I left. it didn't matter to her that I was sitting there, writing letters and reading on my child, even though I only ordered a cake and a tee. it is a beautiful place to return to it :)
we found this beautiful caffe at a walk through the old town of gengenbach. they go in, choose their cake or their torts from the vitrine with different tasty ones and then go up to sit on a table. the torts were super, not too sweet, but very tasty. my man and I have eaten twice during our stay. beautiful atmosphere and a beautiful way to spend a relaxing afternoon at a coffee.
when they go through the load into the confectionery, they see all the fabulous cakes that are offered. the teestube is located in the upper floor, either inside or outside on the balcony. Nice that you can sit and enjoy so great tasty things without all the passers-by looking at what you eat. I love the slightly old-fashioned atmosphere and the great service that belongs to it.

Beautiful confectionery with cafe and outdoor terrace on the first floor. There are breakfast, lunch snacks, cakes, cakes and chocolates. Everything done and fresh. Family, friendly atmosphere. The cakes are a poem, the chocolates should have been tried. They are so delicious that even after the cake one or the other taste.
kuchen we did not eat in caffe birnbräuer (although it looked very good!,) but the hot chocolate was one of the best I ever had. the facility is somewhat old-fashioned, but young people should not stop from visiting the caffe. also the service was very friendly. a cozy little caffe! definitely recommended.
we have made a black forest cherry cake survey in gengenbach (you don't have to!) and we have decided that the best is here. personal friendly and an indoor and outdoor seating area. good, too.
I haven't tried everything yet, but I know they definitely do the best Black Forest cherries I've eaten for a long time. It's worth watching over there.
