I haven't been eating out in "mid-range" restaurants in Perpignan for a while, due to what I consider to be very poor value for money. I have travelled in France and Europe recently and have found it easier to eat better for the same price even in Paris.I was invited to eat at the Lou Grilladou yesterday, and having eaten there once before (there has been a change in management since) and being happy wih the quality, I was pleased to accept the offer.The 3 course lunch menu for 14 euros, with 2 choices at each course was a good deal by comparison with other restaurants I know here. Situated in a very quiet square near the station.Pleasant and helpful staff although the service was a little bit chaotic (bringing bread to the table next door but not ours - 'oh sorry I forgot', similarly with the wine).A good value set menu and wine.Nice salads, the quality of the steak was French style but well cooked. Slightly under cooked pears in the tart. None of the above would put me off paying a second visit.
Located just off a pleasant square on a side street near the train station, this restaurant offers a welcome alternative to the many Kebab joints on the main street. Service was chaotic, but the food was well worth the wait. The house salad with duck and foie was exquisite, as was the boeuf tartare. The house wine was pleasant enough. It was a nice meal to end our weekend in Perpignan.
We have been faithfull customers for 15 years or so, seen the young apprentice grow up and become a qualitfied waiter and we have never been disappointed. The food is made with fresh produces and is always excellent. The lunch formule (appetizer, main dish, dessert) is a bargain at €14. The restaurant is small but there is a heated terrasse in winter. Réservation recommended.

Had dinner last night. Fois gras drowned in berries of all sorts. Could not taste the fois gras. The main course was served ice cold. No more gas in the kitchen? Too many ingredients with competing and conflicting tastes. Staff was nice, but they had an awful evening in the kitchen.Best was the wine. The restaurant had not made it.
we wer staying in one of the station hotels and this restaurant was in a side street an easy 10 minute walk.we thoroughly enjoyed our meal from the 21 euro menu and the waiter although non english speaking was very helpful and friendly and the total bill with wine was very good value.
This is a fabulous restaurant which is in a rather quiet location away from the main tourist trail (but convenient to the hotel we were in - Nyx Hotel). The tourist menu is great value and the quality of both the food and service cannot be faulted.
take-out order reserved the day before for a festive meal with a one-time service and perfect from the quantitative and qualitative point of view: the homemade duck is a marvel, and oh the chocolate mousse ... unanimous!

We visited this restaurant both nights we were in Perpignan. It was excellent with an interesting menu, good food which was well presented and very friendly service.
