If you happen to be served by Barbie, I recommend asking for a different server. My husband and I dined at the restaurant today around 1 PM and experienced quite poor service. First, it took about 15 minutes for my husband to receive a glass of water, even though I already had a non-alcoholic drink and water in front of me. When he finally did get the water—just minutes after our appetizer arrived—Barbie didn't even offer an apology for the delay.

Walked in to grab some food. We asked the hostess at the front if they were still serving food and she said last call was in 5-10 min and bar closes at 1am. So we asked if we can grab a seat and order food immediately before it closes. She says yes. We're seated and we decide we only wanted cheese curds. We waited for 20 min and no one came to take our order. Not even offered water. Finally someone notices and asked if we had been helped. We say no and she rushes over to see who our waitress is. Wow, where do I begin? This place is the closest thing to the ideal bar in all of Glendale. Although the mural on the wall isn't the greatest, everything else is fantastic. The service is exceptional, especially the bartenders, who truly take pride in their work and the drinks they create. Justine does an excellent job of maintaining a wonderful atmosphere and ensuring high-quality beverages. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to enjoy a great time with friends, along with delicious food, a lively ambiance, and top-notch drinks.
I visited this restaurant on an event day and was pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately. However, the service was disappointing. We had to ask for water twice, and it took over an hour for our food to arrive. Our waiter didn't check on us at all or update us on the status of our order. When our food finally arrived, we requested ketchup, but it never came. We also had difficulty finding our waiter to ask for the check, so we had to enlist the help of another staff member. Overall, it was a letdown, and the food was only average.

There was a strange smell inside, but overall, the service was good, and the place wasn't as crowded as the other bars in Westgate on a Saturday night! The new dress code rules in Westgate prohibit athletic shorts or pants, which seems odd for Arizona, especially since summer nights can easily reach the high 90s in July and August. Fortunately, Bar Louie isn’t enforcing that silly rule, so it’s definitely a winner! Plus, they have a full menu available until closing!
I visited for dinner before going to a monster truck event. The restaurant had a pleasant ambiance and the food looked inviting. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. I only received one glass of water, and my order was incorrect. We waited a considerable amount of time for it to be remade but ultimately had to cancel it to ensure we could arrive at the show on time.
A waitress name Vanessa was walking pass minding her business…I had asked for a to go container and it was never brought to me but I stopped her and when I say she went above beyond. Im visiting from Wisconsin and at home I would of been ignored ; she has great team work, she briught containers for my food and my sauces, on top of packing it I so love her!!!
Christina and Taylor were exceptionally courteous and made me feel right at home. They regularly came by to make sure I was enjoying my meal and drinks.
