This is a place to skip over!! Nothing really redeeming here. Hubby and I both had the Cuban sandwich at $16.00. I’ve had a better sandwich at Subway honestly. It was on a hoagie bun that was soggy. Mustard was flavorless, pickles were chewy (how can pickles even be chewy?? , and the pork and ham were both nasty, quarter-inch thick grossness. I don’t even think the cheese was real. The plantains were grease-filled globs. I opted for a side salad and asked for some type of vinaigrette. When she delivered the salad, I poured the dressing on. It was straight balsamic vinegar! Perfectly average. Finally got around to checking this place out. It felt very clean and comfortable. The service was a little bit slow, and a bit strange or distracted. For example, they didn't provide my 5 year old with utensils. And returning to take our food order was slow. But the server was pleasant and friendly. The food was very under seasoned and overpriced. A chicken chimichanga was over $15 and nicely presented, but extremely bland. It wasn't BAD, but it wasn't GOOD either. Chicken wrap was the same price and same blandness. By far the best experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Not only was the food some of the best I have ever had, the owner and his wife took time to walk around and talk to and meet all of the patrons. I had the mofongo chicken which was absolutely phenomenal! Ella was our server and despite having a party of 30 at the same time as us, was extremely attentive and was so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. From the food to the people to the atmosphere, I truly can not recommend this place enough and would give more than 5 stars if I could! Thank you all for the wonderful experience and we will absolutely be returning quite a bit!
Was in the area and figured we'd give Louie's a try. Both were really happy and will for sure be picking Louie's over El Vaquero or Don Tequila's in the future (no shade to them! . Got the beef brisket burrito, the rope, and then split some plantains. Burrito was really good, the beef was tasty, same with the rope. Also really dug the plantains, though I'll say that having a spicy ranch with sweet plantains is a choice. Didn't need the sauce though, they were good without it. Service was great, though the outside patio was in slight dissaray when we were there.

Been coming here for years. Food is unique and always great. Came in late tonight near closing and they were very accommodating. Met the owners and they were super personable, very nice and genuine people. This place is a gem in Hilliard and we love coming here! Thank you for a great meal and making us feel welcome. Always a great place to eat. Went for breakfast today and Bloody Mary's were $12.50. Seems very excessive for a bloody without bacon.... Update, went for Mother's Day 2024, they did an amazing job with getting the crowd thru and keeping up with the food. Had a great breakfast!
It had a cute Diner type environment. My husband love the jambalaya. I had a stuffed chicken that was excellent. I took home this wonderful layered tiramisu which I will eat later
We got Louie'sMachaca and the Breakfast Enchiladas and they were exactly what we needed to start the day. The food was sooo good!
