After a year living close by and drinking here twice we decided to have a meal after a number of recommendations. The 'lounge' has a very cool and inviting interior with an impressive bar manned by very handy barmen. The 2 outside decks face rail lines but are pleasant and comfortable.My wife and I ate with our 2 daughters. the old upper railway station was really not a pearl. what has emerged in it, among others the H-Lounge is a real jewellery. Great ambiente, pleasant garden with regular S-Bahn traffic, which is less disturbing than you should suspect. great varied map with Spanish, Creole and African specialties. tasty cocktails (teuer!), many softdrinks, fixed operation (the upper level of the gymnasium deserves her iphones here), friendly, very attentive and partly with real sales talent (chapeau!). who wants to take a bag after the dance at pritzer, here is the perfect location, who wants to leave this with the dancing is just as good a thing. for special occasions there are "public viewing"
we were a few years ago when the lounge had opened fresh, once there and were not so enthusiastic. the current impression of recent visit was much better. the location is of course still the same beautiful, the very attractively renovated former railway station and the two free terraces in front of below the house are simply perfect for the gastronomy. the menu is now clean and offers a modern interpretation of pub food. Culinary high flights should not be expected, but this is not the claim. the service was very friendly, attentive and quick, so our visit there was a surprisingly positive experience.
from Monday to Friday from 11.30 am to 14.30 pm they offer the lunch buffet. it costs 7.90 without drinks and I thought I would find the usual sausage bread. Instead, it is a real lunch! from the appetizer to dessert everything is excellent and the drinks prices are too normal, not increased. I tried everything and paid 10 euro with a beer. the personal often controls whether nothing is missing from the switch. I found it excellent and can recommend it. it is located at the top railway station and is a quiet chat

a very cozy restaurant at the railway station in oberursel. the atmosphere is very pleasant and they can sit outside in the summer. there is unfortunately only a vegan dish that curry cooked with rice and otherwise only some vegan supplements. Maybe other dishes could have been veganized, but that was not marked. eat tastes okay, but nothing special. I cannot recommend the alcohol-free cocktails. for vegans a good option with non vegan companion, otherwise I would not come back.
oberursel is not known to offer a wide range of evening - especially culinary - jobs after 19 hours, if you are not on apfelwein and press-taste. to this extent it is understandable that the lounge enjoys great popularity. - everything in all it is okay, service sometimes takes quite long, eating is moderate and tends to microwave heating.
this is located at the railway station very cheaply, so it represents a good spot for people who start from different directions. From me the S-Bahn or subway you can also drive by car, as there are plenty of parking spaces in the evening. eating is good and the cocktails too. the ambiente is very modern.
Even if only a few vegan dishes are offered, I still felt the visit as positiw, as the existing vegan dishes were full quality and the atmosphere at the railway station (also in summer outside) is simply great.
