L'Oustau Camarguais

Stopped in on a Monday when other highly reviewed restaurants were closed. Really glad we did. Had an excellent meal. Warmly greeted by the owner and his son who speaks English. Tried 3 mains: the fresh dorade fish which I picked from a choice of...5 they showed us. Grilled with lemon, very fresh and served with nutty whole grain rice. Excellent! Others had magret and filet de bouef. Magret served with a tart fruit sauce. Best magret we’ve had. Filet was also excellent. All in all one of the best meals we’ve had.

This was one of our two best options among many tried and tested restaurants in Aigues-Mortes. A pleasant atmosphere with a good vibe, a very nice terrace and a beautiful interior, a very appetizing menu, a very refined food that justifies its price, normal portions...not huge! The service was impeccable, friendly, fast, efficient, and the presence of the owner gave a special touch to the evening.

Our family was the first time in Aigues Mortes and decided on visiting this Restaurant because oft its nice ambiance and interesting menu. There were many local dishes we did not know so we just chose whatever took our fancy. We were not disappointed. Taste,...presentation, and service left nothing to wish for. Strong recommendation!

this restaurant offers a great selection of vegetarian and even vegan dresses (which is quite unusual for frankly) that we have ordered was very good, the service very friendly and authentic.

excellent eating, fine gourmet refined. very friendly. we're really good. everything we wanted with a lot of character and the owner. a joy.
