Visited today with my daughter and her 2 daughters for a beginning of half term treat. Some treat it turned out to be as we walked in the assistant on realising my granddaughter aged 8 was wearing Healeys (trainers with wheels) said 'you will have to walk in them and sit down, she was walking and was making her way to the table which upset her, she was then snapped at by the same assistant for touching the sugar sachets in a pot on the table saying other people did to use them they are in enclosed packets for goodness sake! I feel the cafe should have a children not welcome sign on the door. after finishing our drinks and cakes we couldn 't find any one to pay so eventually asked the lady se...
I recently visited this lovely shop and was greeted by the new owner, Libby. I was not disappointed as the store was like an Aladdin's cave filled with beautiful gifts such as candles, ceramics, jewelry, and stylish clothing. In addition, they offer handbags, scarves, and much more. Upon venturing upstairs, I was greeted by the friendly staff who served tea, coffee, freshly made sandwiches, and a selection of delicious homemade cakes. The attention to detail was exceptional. Rayleigh is lucky to have such a diverse establishment. Well done, girls! I will definitely be back soon.
Casual shopping with family in Raleigh we visited Lovely Home Interiors just off the high Street. Not only a lovely gift shop but a fantastic tea room upstairs. The ladies on hand in shop and tea area are just lovely, so endearing it makes your visit great. Tables are placed with thought and décor is great. The range if teas, sandwiches, and cake to put a wow smile on everyone face are delightful. Cakes are all homemade and wonderful. If in Rayleigh stop and visit you will love it.
I had an amazing experience at this shop! They have a wide variety of beautiful items such as gifts, clothing, home decor, jewelry, and more. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making our shopping experience even better. After browsing through the store, we enjoyed a delicious scone and coffee upstairs. So I went and discovered this myself what a gem beautiful hand crafted cakes made with lots of love alongside a good crafted cup of latte the surroundings clean good comfy chair wasn't rushed what an experience and for the first time I got loads of walnuts on the Coffee and Walnut cake with a good wedge so I sat back and enjoyed the whole experience this is a fine eatery for that Coffee and Cake moment !!
I have dined at this place for lunch multiple times and with each visit, it continues to impress me. The food is consistently fresh and the homemade cakes are delicious. The portions are generous and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. The staff is attentive and courteous. The shop downstairs is also charming, with unique items for sale. It's a nice touch to browse around after your meal.
Quick service, good value for money, clean, we had coffee and a sandwich which came with a garnish and had plenty of filling, nice atmosphere, as seated in part of the shop which is a heaven to look around and perfect for purchasing lovely gifts
Very impressed! Fabulous selection of cakes and the ones we chose were delicious-very large slices! Service was faultless-polite, patient and attentive! It's a little on the pricey side but would really recommend it for a genuinely LOVELY treat!

As a frequent visitor to The Lovely Cup I cannot recommend it highly enough. The ladies there are lovely and the cakes that are freshly baked are better than any you'll find elsewhere. I can't wait for my next visit.
