Lumberyard in Laguna Beach offers a delightful dining experience. The exceptional menu includes everything from fresh seafood to delectable steaks. I found the service to be friendly and attentive without hovering over the table. The outdoor seating area is a quiet oasis for alfresco dining away from the chaos down Forest Ave. closer to the beach.
My wife and I had lunch here. It was a pretty slow day so there was no problem getting a table. The wait staff was excellent taking our order and delivering beverages, and food, promptly. They kept checking on us to see that everything was okay. We both had the fish and chips. The taste was good but we thought there was a little too much breading.
Excellent restaurant in Laguna Beach. We asked about their tinned fish, and the owner's wife came to our table to show it to us. Our server was also very kind and had great recommendations. It was very intimate and they also had live music. Also reasonably priced for Laguna Beach!
We were pleasantly surprised that there wasn't a larger crowd on a Sunday afternoon. It made for good service and a pleasant atmosphere so we weren't challenged to have a reasonable conversation experience with our meal. Book a table now
Dependable for great food. I’ve had the parmesan crusted sole many times- always delicious. My son had the baby back ribs and said they were the best he’s had here in California!
We ate here on a Saturday evening. We chose to sit at the bar. The service was excellent and the food was terrific. We will come back again.
