Lumiere has been around for years and outlasted numerous cafes and businesses in the struggling St Margaret's complex. A quirk of the Sydney market. The place has never really appealed to me because it comes across as just another generic cafe, however I did enjoy the hot cakes. Prices are hefty with many dishes around $20. Food was good, service was very friendly, coffee was okay. Nice outdoor area with shade.
We just happened upon this cute little sidewalk cafe about a block off of Oxford. It was a great find! I had the “something Sunrise” fresh juice drink with pineapple, watermelon, orange and mango(? maybe. It was delicious. I also had the ham and cheese croissant, also great. My husband had the omelet and it was huge and delicious as well! The servers were friendly. Altogether a great experience!
I dont know how many years I've been going to Lumiere. Coffee is always good. Food is always good. Service is always good. Smiles are always on the menu. So hey? What's not to like? Others come and go. Favourites tend to hang around.
My long black coffee was so well made that I had to have a second. I had a quick toasted croissant with jam with the first cup and it was all served briskly by the friendly team. A lovely experience. Book a table now
The best eggs we have ever eaten..... yummy coffee delectable juice and smiling friendly helpful staff....what else can you ask for in breakfast.... next time we are in Sydney we will be back
Lovely cafe! Met my friends for lunch at their fav cafe! Didn’t disappoint. I ordered the scrambled eggs with truffle oil so delicious. The coffee was so good I had to order another one.
What a great find! The breakfast menu is out of order crazy good. The staff were all so attentive and friendly. I loved sitting out in the courtyard people watching. Will def be back.
