This place is one you would judge if you first left the highway, but I have learned a full parking lot is usually a good sign. The room is limited so you may not be able to eat. I had spits, pancite and veggie egg rolls and loved it. And this mango juice? My employee had Curry and his only complaint was that it wasn't sharp. Another employee had chickenadobo, and their only complaint were the small bones, otherwise they said the taste was great. All shaved over the Cantaloupe juice, so I try this and the curry next time. In any case, give this place an attempt!
The BEST Filipino food I've had in years!! If you don't know what the food is, just ask. My go to is always adobo and pork steak with onions.. The chicken skewers are also on point, but I always reheat them when I get home for late night snack Their prices are still great even after the increase. Portions always great. Make sure you have them add the stew sauces in your rice!!!
My first time is Filipino food. It is a great place for lunch and a good offer. I wish they put labels on the food in the hot bar, I have no idea what I ordered. The servers are friendly and patient with me, as I have on things they ask what it is and when its spicy. I think I almost tried everything and everything was good.
I'm from Kansas City and I'm visiting my daughter here in DC. I always come to Lumings because the service and food are so excellent. They won't disappoint. Many choices and a variety of menu items also. For ordering food is fresh. Come to them!
