Although the restaurant is a short drive away of the city centre, I think it's definitely worth it. The first time I came I was surprised by the lovely taste of the food and the pretty way it was presented. Since them I went two...more times. Starters are very good, as well as the mains. Sometimes there are seasonal specials and always make sure to do a reservation. The only thing I think they could improve are the desserts. To my mind, they were nicebut not as good as the rest of our dishes. The menu is full of nice wines, so I strobgly have to recomnend this place although the price is higher than usual in ravensburg.
This is a wonderful restaurant close to the city of Ravensburg, near the forest, with a beautiful garden where you can have your dinner (in summer). But the main reason to try Lumperhof is the quality. They serve you the finest version of the local...dishes. And the services is at that high level. If you are in the area, you shouldn't miss it.

Situated outside of Ravensburg, not easy to be found with GPS, they have a limited menu but with very delicious meals of high quality and a focus on local food. The staff is very friendly and the maitre worked in the Waldhorn in Ravensburg before....Due to the weather I could not check the outside seating. Reservations are recommended.
